Clive Radley MSc, BA(Hons)
Clive’s vast experience extends back 25 years, firstly as a Police Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police and then over time, a variety of employment roles such as Security Manager for the University of East London and Operations Manager for Westminster City Council. More notably in recent years Clive was employed by LOCOG and was a site security manager for a part of the 2012 London Olympics. It was after this that he joined Pagoda Security and was appointed initially as the HR & Training Manager which involves the delivery of industry related training course such as the SIA Door Supervisor course, Physical Intervention, First Aid and Personal License training.
Clive is a proactive person with a level of maturity and calmness defined by the years of challenges and experiences working in the security industry. In March of 2017 Clive was then appointed as the company’s Managing Director after successfully guiding and managing the company through the SIA ACS Process and Audit where it was successfully passed, leading to Pagoda Security now being an SIA Approved Contractor.
Clive is a fellow of the security institute incorporating the international institute security. He also has a Masters Degree (MSc), with merit, in Criminal Justice Policy and a Batchelors – BA(Hons)Degrees in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Simon Errey BA(Hons)
HR and Business Manager
Simon was welcomed back to the business in April 2017, appointed as the company’s HR and Business Manager, stepping into Clive’s previous role as he moved up to Managing Director. Simon had initially been with the company during its earlier years within the same capacity until 2012 where he took an opportunity within an organisation that couldn’t be refused. We are delighted that Simon is now back with Pagoda Security following that placement coming to an end.
Since Simon graduated from the University of Sussex, with a BA (Hons) degree, he has gained vast experience working in the Brighton area with people ranging from charities working with the homeless and sick, to Senior levels of the City Council. He has also dealt with clients based in the Far East and Australia. Pagoda Security has placed Simon on the IOSH Managing Safely (Health and Safety Course) and he’ll also be completing an accredited HR training package by the Summer of 2017 to add to his years of practical experience in the field.
Simon will be playing an integral role within the company as it goes from strength to strength securing new contracts requiring SIA licensed staff. Simon will be managing the recruitment of new employees and continuous development of existing employees in the company. As new systems such as Timegate are being implemented into the company, Simon has come on board at a really exciting time and is already proving his value with his excellent people skills and ability to manage both small and large teams as the company steps to the next level in both professionalism and overall size.
Simon is a highly respected individual and one of a rare find for us as a business. He is a true asset and someone with great ethics – the future with Simon now joining the team again is looking very promising.
